Electric Solenoid Valve- 3/8" 12V DC Brass Body Normally Closed with VITON SEAL
An electric solenoid valve with normally closed (N/C) operation is crafted from a high-quality brass body with 3/8" female threaded connections and a heat and oil resistant Viton gasket. It is suitable for a variety of applications such as hot or cold water, gas, air, low viscosity fluids, oils, and hydrocarbons like gasoline, kerosene, or diesel fuel. This solenoid valve model carries an IP65 rating, making it capable of withstanding water spray. For permanent outdoor installations, it is advisable to enclose the valves in protective housing. However, this valve is not suitable for underwater use. Customers opt for this general purpose valve for DIY projects, moderate temperature environments, handling harsh chemicals, as well as for flow control in irrigation systems, reverse osmosis systems, or managing propane gas flow. OVERHEATING WARNING: This solenoid valve is not designed for continuous operation and does not have a 100% duty cycle. Under normal conditions, while energized, the valve will become hot, with the coil reaching a maximum temperature of about 176°F (80℃), in full compliance with national standard: JB/T7352-2010. Continuous energization for more than 8 hours may cause the coil to burn.
