Electric Solenoid Valve - 3/4" 12V DC Brass Body Normally Closed with VITON SEAL
Electric solenoid valve with normally closed (N/C) operation, featuring a durable brass body, two-way inlet and outlet ports with three-quarter inch (3/4") female threaded (NPT) connections, and a heat and oil resistant Viton gasket. Suitable for various applications such as hot or cold water, gas, air, low viscosity fluids (< 20 cst), oils, and hydrocarbons like gasoline, kerosene, or diesel fuel. This valve has an IP65 rating, making it resistant to water spray. It is recommended to enclose the valve in protective housing if installed permanently outdoors and should not be used underwater.
Customers select this general purpose valve for DIY projects, moderate temperature uses, handling harsh chemicals, flow control in irrigation systems, reverse osmosis systems, or propane gas flow control. It can also be used for unique applications like actuating a t-shirt cannon, potato cannon, or launching confetti.
