Brass Electric Solenoid Valve - 1-1/2" 110V AC, Normally Closed with VITON Seal
An electric solenoid valve with normally closed (N/C) operation is designed for various applications. Constructed with a premium brass body, this valve features two-way inlet and outlet ports with 1-1/2" female threaded (NPT) connections and a heat and oil resistant Viton gasket. It is suitable for use with hot or cold water, gas, air, low viscosity fluids (< 20 cst), as well as oils and hydrocarbons like gasoline, kerosene, or diesel fuel.
The solenoid valves come with an IP65 rating, making them resistant to water spray. For outdoor installations, it is recommended to enclose the valves in protective housing. Please note that they are not suitable for underwater use.
Customers choose this general purpose valve for a variety of applications including DIY projects, moderate temperature uses, handling harsh chemicals, flow control in irrigation systems, reverse osmosis systems, and regulating propane gas flow.
