Electric solenoid valves with normally open (N/O) operation are designed with a sturdy brass body, 1/2" female threaded (NPT) connections, and nitrile rubber (NBR) seals. Suitable for various applications such as hot or cold water, natural gas, air, low viscosity fluids (< 20 cst), and oils. These solenoid valves have an IP65 rating, making them resistant to water spray. However, if installed outdoors permanently, it is advisable to enclose them in protective housing. Not intended for underwater use. Customers opt for this versatile valve for DIY projects, moderate temperature uses, water exchange in aquariums, air horns, or draining moisture from air tanks.
