Electric Solenoid Valve - 1/2" 24V AC Brass Body Normally Closed with VITON SEAL
An electric solenoid valve with normally closed (N/C) operation is crafted from high-quality brass, featuring two-way inlet and outlet ports with half-inch female threaded connections. Equipped with a heat and oil resistant Viton gasket, this valve is suitable for a variety of applications such as hot or cold water, gas, air, low viscosity fluids, oils, and hydrocarbons like gasoline, kerosene, and diesel fuel.
Rated IP65, these solenoid valves can withstand water spray, but it is recommended to enclose them in protective housing if permanently installed outdoors. Not suitable for underwater use. Customers often choose this general purpose valve for DIY projects, moderate temperature applications, handling harsh chemicals, flow control in irrigation systems, reverse osmosis systems, or home brewing.
