Electric Solenoid Valve - 3/4" 110V AC Brass Body Normally Closed with NBR Seal
Electric solenoid valves with a normally closed (N/C) operation are designed with a durable brass body, 3/4" female threaded (NPT) connections, and heat and oil resistant NBR seals. These valves are suitable for a variety of applications including hot or cold water, natural gas, air, low viscosity fluids, and oils. They have an IP65 rating, making them resistant to water spray, but it is recommended to enclose them in protective housing if permanently installed outdoors. Please note that these valves are not suitable for underwater use.
Customers commonly choose these solenoid valves for DIY projects, moderate temperature applications, water exchange in aquariums, air horn systems, or bleeding moisture from air tanks. Specifications include a pipe size of 3/4", flow aperture of 20 mm, brass body material, NBR gasket/diaphragm/seal, semi-direct lift operation type, and normally closed operation mode. They operate at AC 110V ± 10% voltage with a power rating of 22 VA.
These valves are suitable for use with various media such as air, water, diesel oil, and kerosene. The operational pressure ranges from 0-7 Bar for air/water and 0-5 Bar for oil. They have a flow capacity of 7.6 GPM of water at 60 oF with a pressure drop of 1 PSI, and a flow value of 7.6 Cv. The temperature ranges from a minimum of 23 degrees Fahrenheit (-5 degrees Celsius) to a maximum of 176 degrees Fahrenheit (80 degrees Celsius).
It is important to note that these solenoid valves are not designed for continuous operation and have a maximum temperature limit of 176°F (80℃). Continuous energization for more than 8 hours may result in coil burnout. Additionally, this product contains chemicals, including lead, that are known to the State of California to cause cancer and reproductive harm.
